Rose hedges and fences combine the fine and romantic beauty of roses with the impenetrable austerity of their thorns.
You can create such a ‘rosy’ fence with plenty of roses continuously flowered by planting this group of roses densely on a row at the edge of your garden.
Some of the varieties of this group can create more narrow fences, as the Renaissance® subgroup, which have a rather upright growth. Other varieties can form a hemisphere over the ground and larger fences because of their arching flexible branches.
This kind of fences and hedges, narrow or large, on 1 or 2 rows, with 1 or more varieties can hide everyone from the indiscrete looks.
In the case of large fences you can combine 2 different varieties of different heights to obtain a beautiful relief; a suitable pruning is sometimes effective.
