Feeding – Watering

Applications of fertilizer will be well appreciated by roses especially these of repeating flowering.
A Complesal-type fertilizer (12-12-17 +3 Mg) is suitable for roses.
In Greece, a dose of a little spoon of fertilizer per plant, every 40-50 days, is quite satisfactory. Don’t neglect regular watering when feeding.
Repeat feeding until August.
Roses will greatly appreciate repeated and abundant watering. Combine it with mulching for best results because it permits to maintain soil always moist; applying drip irrigation is advisable.
Weeding is important; taking off weeds and roots’ aeration help to keep plants free of diseases and pests.
