Chlorosis

Chlorosis is a metabolism disorder due to the excessive calcium in the soil: the leaves turn to yellow between nervures.
Good mulching, frequent watering and good soil aeration seems to be effective against chlorosis.
Avoid pruning or cutting roses in too sec and/or hot weather; new shoots may be chlorotic.
An application of sequestrene or a similar chemical is also beneficial.
